The Market Access Marketing, Senior Manager-Cardiovascular & Metabolism (CVM) role will support the Group Director in building a coordinated and overarching SCG market access and reimbursement strategy for our new therapy asset in the Resistant Hypertension therapeutic area as well as an existing asset in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area. Responsibilities:
Market Access Strategy Collaborate with Real World Evidence (RWE), analytics & Health Economics and Clinical Outcomes Research (HECOR) teams to develop clear brand value propositions for our SCG customers to drive access and reimbursement strategies Utilize deep understanding of the changing healthcare landscape and the impact on both short- and long-term requirements for delivering sustainable market access and reimbursement strategies Partner with brand marketing team members across payer marketing to ensure targeted strategies, priorities and tactics are aligned with overall brand strategy Work with Strategic Account Management (SAM) team to uncover, collect, and share customer/market insights; Translate and incorporate customer insights into strategies and tactics; develop SAM resources to support overall execution of the plan Utilize the Market Access Excellence framework to drive organizational alignment around strategic choices to optimize access strategy Serve as a critical member of the team to coordinate and support annual market access readiness strategy (JALT MARR Review) Launch Readiness and Access Activation Develop and align the organization on brand access strategy and goals Lead internal business partners including but not limited to V&E, Trade, Quality, Policy, Advocacy, Pricing and HCC/Legal/Regulatory to deliver on all SCG launch readiness activities related to market access and reimbursement Build and execute comprehensive training plan for payer and institutional account teams, ensuring proficiencies and launch readiness Communication Serve as SCG lead for CVM payer and institutional business group teams; ensure all account teams are advised, educated, and supported with the right information and materials to ensure strategy and program execution Build credibility and establish strong and highly functional partnerships with brand partners, account teams, strategic customer group functional leads and alliance partners Lead National Meeting / Fast Start meetings / New Hire Training for Strategic Account Management team Work with Group Director to provide monthly/quarterly updates to the SCG Leadership Team and Brand leadership This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job functions. Qualifications Education:
BA/BS required, and an MBA preferred. Experience And Skills:
Required:
Minimum 5 years business with a minimum of 2 years marketing/strategy experience and proven performance. Candidate must demonstrate strategy, marketing, innovation, collaboration, and analytical skills as well as a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and the ability to identify market trends that impact business goals. Be a self-starter, willing to forge a path and define a way forward in a new area for Janssen. Ability to bring together multiple viewpoints, develop insights and connect disparate information into a cohesive recommendation. Must be able to lead and prioritize multiple projects. Must possess the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel across levels and functions is required. Strong communication and presentation skills required, including the ability to defend logical business arguments, influence without authority, and facilitate consensus-building is required. Strong project management skills required. Solid understanding of US market access environment and key market segments ex. Health Plans, PBMs, IDNs, Hospitals, Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, VA, DOD etc. Understanding of Financial and Business planning Preferred:
Market access related experience preferred Understanding of pharmaceutical pricing and contracting dynamics a plus Launch readiness experience a plus.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Allied Health Professionals, Brand Marketing & Management, Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
