This position within the Cardiovascular and Metabolism franchise will specifically focus on the medical marketing strategy to support all XARELTO indications and will require strong, effective partnering across multiple cross functional teams. In addition, collaboration with marketing leadership, Real World Value and Evidence, Medical Affairs, R&D and our Alliance Partners will be critical to the success of this position. Product Director, Cardiovascular Medical Marketing responsibilities include:
Develop US brand strategy for all indications by working with the marketing leadership team, medical leadership, global partners, and R&D. Efforts will include promotion, education, value/economic and payer/access related strategy and initiatives. Partnering with the Integrated Evidence Team Lead to craft an evidence generation plan for execution to ensure marketplace success of all indications. These efforts will also include partnering with key functional areas including Value & Evidence (V&E) and engaging with our Global Partner. Partner with Medical affairs, R&D, V&E and global teams on publication planning, congresses/abstracts related efforts, KOL advisory boards/engagement and ongoing compliant field customer engagement Lead the economic and outcomes data strategy and partner on priority initiatives with Value and Evidence teams on all relevant economic analysis, value proposition, publication planning and congress abstract presentations Liaise with Alliance Partners, contribute to Steering Committees, and lead marketing strategy discussions with global counterparts Set the lifecycle management (LCM) strategy for the brand Partner with sales training and lead strategy for successfully training sales teams. Cross functionally partner to prepare senior leadership for association meetings and congresses
Qualifications Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required. An Advance degree is desired (MBA, PharmD, PhD)
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of Marketing experience is required. A minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical experience is required. Previous people management experience is preferred. Cardiovascular and thrombosis experience is preferred. Strong strategic and inline marketing experience, working knowledge of clinical development process, FDAMA 114, FDA guidance, prior experience with R&D is preferred. Working knowledge of regulatory process, including labeling, analytics and market research knowledge, external customer engagement, including key opinion leaders in Thrombosis is preferred. Sales and/or sales leadership experience is preferred Understanding of clinical trial data, synthesis of clinical trial data into key promotional messages is preferred. Ability to be innovative and work within a team environment is required Excellent written & oral communication skills are required This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 20% domestic travel.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
