The Associate Director, Global Forecasting, Prostate Cancer is responsible for delivering robust forecasts integrating key insights. He/She will partner on the development of global commercial strategies for pharmaceutical products in early or late development, integrating insights from modeling, primary & secondary research and competitive intelligence. Responsibilities will span all early and late development assets in Neuropsychiatry (for example Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia). Responsibilities Deliver global forecasts, perform sensitivity analysis and calculate bridges to prior forecasts. Facilitate discussions to formulate key assumptions, articulate and frame insights, commercial risks and opportunities. Ensure rigor in global forecast assumptions by incorporating Competitive Intel and Market Research insights. Integrate with the Global Marketing teams. Provide a data driven point of view on the value of assets in clinical development. Create relevant powerpoint decks and clearly present the forecasts and associated assumptions. Has full accountability for the robustness and transparency of global forecasts of assets in clinical development. Lead the design & implementation of new appropriate forecast model designs for Prostate Cancer. Develop/maintain/update forecast models to inform long-range financial planning and governance milestone decisions. Identify data/insight gaps. Partner with market research to help inform those gaps. Employ Monte Carlo simulation techniques to assess the risk and uncertainty in forecast projections. Ensure alignment with Global and Regional stakeholders on key assumptions and valuations. Support commercial leadership in their communication of forecast assumptions, outputs, and scenarios to cross-functional business partners, senior management, and regional stakeholders. Serve as a credible and strategic partner to all the stakeholders of this role including Supply Chain, Finance, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. Support commercial assessment of Early-Stage assets in Neuropsychiatry. Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of progressive business experience is required in relevant areas such as Forecasting, Quantitative Sciences, Business Analytics, and/or New Business Development. Experience designing and building different types of forecasting models to address uncertainty and multiple scenarios, and interpreting and presenting the results to key stakeholders, is required. A minimum of 3 years of Forecasting experience is required. Experience in pharmaceutical industry (directly or indirectly) is required. Strong learning agility to quickly establish a sound understanding of relevant product-specific clinical data is required. Sound business acumen, and ability to validate business assumptions, discuss business and marketing strategies with commercial leads is required. A passion for detail as well as high level data analysis with a natural ability to look at the total picture is required. Strong ability to cut through the noise, validate root cause directly with commercial leads, and strategically sums up context and recommendations. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
