Janssen New Products and Business Development is recruiting for a Sr. Director Therapeutic Area Lead, Neuroscience, Infectious Disease and Vaccines to be located in Titusville, NJ Responsible for leading Neuroscience (NS) and Infectious Disease Vaccines (IDV) Regional Core Strategy Teams (RCSTs) to ensure cross-functional US alignment on future landscape/unmet needs and target product profile (TPP) requirements to maximize NS & IDV compound value for key stakeholders. Responsible for providing US input into Global NS and IDV Therapeutic Area/Disease Area Stronghold (TA/DAS) and compound strategies. Also responsible for leading commercial assessments to inform go/no-go recommendations for Phase 2b/3 compound stage-gate decisions. Responsible for US launch readiness for NS & IDV compounds. Also responsible for providing US input to shape global Business Development (BD) strategy, assuring alignment with NS and IDV Business Unit Leaders. Executes US NS and IDV BD Strategy considering Global DAS strategies and therapeutic area priorities. Works closely with the Global Commercial Strategy Organization and Janssen Business Development teams to identify and prioritize external opportunities and works closely with US NPBD Analytics leading the US commercial assessments. Cultivates cross company relationships for franchise support. This includes collaborating with GCSO, JBD and JBI key stakeholders. Sits on both the NS and IDV US Leadership Teams. Future oriented and collaborates and successfully aligns cross functional teams Builds defendable business cases and drives organizational alignment Demonstrates learning agility Effectively works across operating companies to identify/pursue TA partnerships Drives recommendations through organization to garner support go/no go decisions Key Competencies:

An MBA is Preferred A minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical business experience in In-line Marketing, Strategic Marketing, New Business Development or Global Marketing or Finance is required Strong knowledge of pharma sales/marketing, strategic marketing, people development, finance and market analytics is required Ability to build strategy and US business case for new opportuntieis including forecast, sales resourcing, analytics, financial statements and market overview. Must be able to pick up technical knowledge and new TA's easily. Sufficient business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence enterprise-wide decisions and strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Must be able to provide succinct & insightful communications to senior management. $200K -- $250K

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
