Job Description The Asssociate Director, Global Medical Affairs, Medical Advisor for Neurology will be responsible for supporting aspects of the clinical-commercial optimization for late-stage Neurology assets, including life cycle management strategies, under the guidance of the Global Medical Affairs Leaders (GMALs) within the Neurology Therapeutic Area. S/he will partner closely with Commercial, Market Access and Medical teams at a Global and Regional level as well as supporting the Compound Development Team to develop an integrated global medical affairs strategies and plans. The Medical Advisor will support and partner with the GMALs on the global publication plans, global evidence generation including Ph IV studies, global external relations, global medical education and global or regional advisory boards for late-stage Neurology assets in Neuromuscular, Neuro-immune, and Neurodegenerative indications starting in early development (phase II) and through launch of major life cycle management initiatives. Responsibilities include:
Partnering with the GMALs in developing global medical affairs strategy and plan for the compound based on prioritized regional needs. Working under supervision of the GMALs sto ensure integration with the overall global compound strategy, resulting in one global R&D and Medical Affairs compound development plan. Supporting a single Medical Affairs voice in the creation of compound development and LCM strategies. Responsible for pre-launch medical activities under the supervision of the GMALs, including global advisory boards, medical symposia and congress activities, managing any pre-approval access programs in collaboration with regional functional leads and input into phase 3b projects. Post-launch responsibilities include supporting phase IV, registry-planning and IIS review. Support the GMALs in leading the global publications plan, as well as pre-launch global KOL communications & speaker development. Contribute to the overall integrated evidence generation activities within Global Medical Affairs for a late-stage Mood asset. Responsible to ensure all global activities follow J&J Compliance principles, e.g. Health Care Compliance, etc. Qualifications This position requires a minimum of a masters level advanced scientific/medical degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH or other masters level degree), with experience in neuroscience preferred. Prior experience in a medical affairs role for 2
years is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of combined relevant experience in a medical/clinical environment, scientific function in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Knowledge of TA products, both J&J and competitors, is desirable. Experience working within and contributing to highly matrixed, cross-functional work teams comprised of high-level managers and executives is required. A demonstrated track record of success within Medical Affairs, clinical environment and/or scientific function is desired. Global mindset is required. Ability to partner cross culturally/regionally is preferred An in-depth knowledge of study methodology, study data reviews and analysis is required. Highly innovative with the ability to drive a complex and changing environment and effectively manage and resolve issues within the TA is an asset. Also highly desired to have strong experience developing and managing strategic relationships with medical experts/opinion leaders. Proven ability to lead and influence functional teams is required. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments is required. Up to 30% international travel is required. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
