Description
Janssen PMP, a division of Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Sales and Business Development Manager for North America, to be located in Titusville, NJ. This position may sit remotely on the US East Coast. This position will report to Janssen PMP management in Beerse, Belgium.
Janssen PMP develops, registers and commercializes preservative formulations worldwide for the protection of plastics, wood, paints and other materials from microbiological deterioration.
Primary Role
Focus on growth of Janssen PMP with target customers through effective account management, development of strong customer relationships and execution of sales projects. Identify unmet needs of perspective customers and pursue new business opportunities to drive profitable growth.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the current customer base and ongoing sales opportunities
Responsible for negotiations of customers commercial conditions
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and partners
Give input to regional Business Plan and deliver sales accordingly
Identify and assess new market opportunities for PMP Microbial Control product portfolio (identifying customer needs, market value, competitive landscape, etc.)
Work closely with relevant persons in Headquarters to determine and support implementation of defined product strategies
Provide market intelligence to the business and participate in the development of strategies and tactics
Co-ordination of licensing and distribution proposals for the business within the territory.
Participation in organizations and Trade associations that are important for profiling Janssen PMP ( AWPA, AF Working Group, etc.)
Manage consultants for organization of marketing materials and exhibitions

Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 8 years experience in business to business sales is required. Experience and background in the Material Protection, biocides and/or Plastics industry preferred. Knowledge of regulatory systems in the USA and Canada is preferred. Must integrate quickly within cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Regulatory, Technical, Legal) to drive market growth. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Leadership abilities and the ability to work and pursue goals independently are required. Self motivation and self accountability are required. Proven track record in negotiation, market and customer focus, strategic planning and value creation are required. Expertise in use of Sales tools, (account management, pricing,
forecasting, A/R, contracts, business planning, product stewardship) are required. Must act with integrity and promotes ethical conduct while conducting
business across diverse cultures.
This position will be located in Titusville, NJ. The selected candidate may operate remotely from the US East Coast, this will be considered on a case by case basis. Relocation may be considered for candidates not on the East Coast. This position will require up to 50% domestic and international travel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
