Manager, Patient Access Solutions

The Manager, Patient Access Solutions, develops, designs and implements competitive and compliant access and affordability programs for assigned therapeutic areas across channels that fully integrate stakeholder and marketplace requirements, environment, and projected marketplace activity, and which deliver on short and long-term business goals and objectives. These offerings must provide stakeholder centric tools to support appropriate provider, caregiver, and patient access to our products. Collaborates with brand teams and Market Access Strategy Directors to develop and present access support strategies based on specific products and/or brand needs. Launches and updates Access Support programs to provide best in class service to stakeholders. Provides program data to stakeholders to drive business results.  Leverages an understanding of value-based healthcare economics, payment and delivery models, and the roles of the payer, provider and patients in access support decisions to inform strategy. Leverages understanding of key financial and economic metrics to develop and present business cases and budgets to brand teams. Utilizes insight from brand teams to develop access support programs that align to the product, patient, and provider demographics and needs. Manages vendor performance to ensure efficiency and cost savings. Negotiates contract terms to ensure compliance, fair market value, and to appropriately balance J&J and stakeholder risks and interests.   Key Responsibilities:   With support of management leads development and implementation of access services offerings through all major stages, including ensuring that offerings appropriately balance J&J and stakeholder risks and interests. Works closely with stakeholders to deliver and execute targeted solutions that address mutual strategic priorities and brings value to all parties. Demonstrates conviction, proactivity and persistence when influencing others and overcoming resistance. Applies an understanding of value-based healthcare economics, payment and delivery models, and the roles of the payor, provider and patients in reimbursement decisions and how they impact marketing, access and affordability. Delivers and creates clear and concise communications and presentations using approaches that highlight the most pertinent information for key stakeholders and spur stakeholder actions. Creates and executes results oriented business plans that are aligned with brand and stakeholder strategies. Interprets results of data analyses and understands business implications that are important to stakeholders. Plans, adjusts, prioritizes and executes on strategies to achieve results. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree or MBA preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required. Experience in promotional material management and approval process (CAC) is preferred. Strategy development and business planning skills preferred. Developmental experience and demonstrated success in areas such as Patient Access Solutions, Finance, Business Analytics, Account Development, Reimbursement, or Offer Development is preferred. Understanding of compliance, privacy and regulatory guidelines is required. Understanding of decentralized and cross-functional business models is preferred. Experience managing projects and budgets is required. Ability to work with others at various levels in the organization is required. Ability to communicate effectively with others, including defending logical business arguments is required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
